

It also re-adds a shortcut to the desktop that doesnt work for me without Run as admin. This appears to try to update the install and therefore requires admin privileges.

OK, spent far more time troubleshooting than I should have I am happy to uninstall and try a different process, but if someone could help me make these available for all users that would be appreciated. I've searched for ways to make Studio available for All Users but my google fu is letting me down. However, with Roblox and Roblox Studio, the applications are installed in the users AppData directories which is really not idea since that would mean these types of apps are going to be installed multiple times.


I installed Blender as well, and although it only created a link for the user who installed it, since it installed in a common "Program Files" folder, I was able to copy the user desktop link to the other account and it worked. Other software I have often been asked, "for this user or all users". Roblox and Roblox Studio is a case in point. I'm not a Windows 10 guy and having come from linux to setup a windows 10 PC for my young kids I've struck a wall with software that doesn't at all attempt to install for all users.
